Light Sparring Class

We wanted to create a class everyone can take part in and learn how to box regardless of their background, physical condition, sex or age.Tailored drills, techniques, mitt-work, shadowboxing, and working with partners are some of the many aspects of our sweet science training!Drilling fundamentals in a passionate environment give us hope all who take partake in our classes will grow to share our admiration for one of the greatest sports!

Warm-Up

Our warm-up features several different types of training evolution from shadowboxing,ladder drills to the traditional jump-rope.We do our best to constantly switch up the regiment to keep it engaging and preparatory for the main class.

Each member gets all the necessary time to sufficiently prepare in order to stay safe and promote injury free future progress.

Light Sparring

We primarily focus on building strong fundamentals from the ground up, ensuring proper stance and footwork while we learn strikes, defence, and head movement .

After the first steps we move into light-sparring,offering a safe and realistic environment to apply our lessons.This also allows us as teachers to observe and help identify any poor form or other minor corrections – tailoring our approach as a collective.

This class will teach you movement, striking,and blocking while in a fluid state of motion.

It’s a great opportunity for any and all ,especially if you ever had an interest and couldn’t find a good fit regarding a gym.

All classes require full protection ie mouthguard,head-gear,etc.
