Every champion started as a beginner, and our coaches understand exactly how to break down complex movements into simple, learnable steps. Your first class at Athens Boxing Club begins with a warm-up to get your body moving, followed by fundamental technique work including stance, footwork, and basic punches. Our coaches will walk you through everything at a comfortable pace, ensuring you understand each movement before progressing. You will finish the session with pad work or bag work, putting your new skills into practice in a fun, energetic environment.
We mean it when we say no experience is required. Many of our members walked through the door having never thrown a punch, and they now train multiple times per week. Our beginner-friendly Boxing Fitness classes are specifically structured so that newcomers can join at any time without feeling lost. All you need to bring is comfortable workout clothes, a water bottle, and a willingness to learn.
